1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Printion ("the Service"), available at https://printion.pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and Printion ("we", "our", "us"), operated by a solo developer. By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Service Description

Printion is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application that converts Notion pages into professionally designed PDF documents. The Service provides:

  • Integration with Notion via their official OAuth API to read pages you have shared with the Printion integration
  • Conversion of Notion page content (text, images, tables, code blocks, and other supported block types) into formatted PDF documents
  • Multiple premium themes for customizing the appearance of your PDFs
  • Cover page generation, table of contents, page numbers, headers, and footers
  • Custom branding options including logo, colors, and font selection (available on paid plans)

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We continuously improve Printion and may add, modify, or remove features at our discretion.

3. Account Creation and Security

To use Printion, you must create an account by authenticating through Notion's OAuth flow. By doing so, you authorize Printion to access the Notion pages you have shared with our integration.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your Notion account, which serves as your Printion authentication method
  • All activities that occur under your Printion account
  • Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised or are being used in violation of these Terms.

4. Plans and Pricing

Printion offers the following plans:

4.1 Free Plan

  • 10 PDF generations per calendar month
  • Access to the Clean Pro theme
  • Cover page and page numbers
  • A small Printion watermark on generated PDFs

4.2 Paid Plans (Pro and Team)

  • Unlimited PDF generations
  • Access to all premium themes
  • Custom branding (logo, colors, fonts)
  • No watermark on generated PDFs
  • Priority support
  • Additional features as described on our pricing page, which may vary by plan

Pricing is displayed on our website and may be updated from time to time. Any price changes will not affect active subscriptions until their next renewal period. We will notify existing subscribers at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect on their plan.

5. Payment Terms

All payments are processed through our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

  • Billing cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select. Your billing cycle starts on the date of your first payment
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until your current period expires
  • Currency: All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). Lemon Squeezy handles currency conversion and applicable taxes based on your location
  • Taxes: Prices may be subject to applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax) depending on your jurisdiction. Lemon Squeezy calculates and collects these taxes automatically
  • Failed payments: If a payment fails, we may retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable attempts, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied with Printion for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase or renewal payment.

To request a refund:

  • Email us at contact@printion.pro within 7 days of the charge
  • Include your account email and the reason for your request
  • Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and typically appear within 5-10 business days

After the 7-day period, refunds are granted at our sole discretion. Partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period are not provided upon cancellation.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Printion only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to convert content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or that violates the rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use or bypasses usage limits
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or any part of the Service not intended for your use
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission
  • Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or the servers and networks that host it
  • Use the Service to generate PDFs containing malware, phishing content, or other harmful material
  • Circumvent or manipulate usage limits, billing, or any security measures of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse service if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these acceptable use provisions.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content from your Notion pages that is processed through Printion. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, temporary license to access and process your Notion page content solely for the purpose of generating the PDF you requested.

8.2 Our Service

Printion, including its source code, design, themes, branding, logos, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Printion and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our Service or its components without our express written permission.

8.3 Generated PDFs

The PDF documents generated by Printion are yours. You are free to use, share, and distribute them as you see fit. The visual layout and formatting applied by our themes are part of the Service, but we do not claim ownership over the generated PDFs themselves.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep Printion available and operational at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We do not provide a Service Level Agreement (SLA).

The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled or emergency maintenance
  • Updates and deployments of new features
  • Outages affecting our third-party infrastructure providers (Vercel, Turso, Notion API)
  • Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance of planned downtime. We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Printion is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements, that PDFs will be error-free, or that the Service will be available without interruption
  • In no event shall Printion, its developer, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Printion in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may delete your Printion account at any time from your account dashboard. Upon deletion:

  • Your Notion OAuth token will be revoked and we will no longer have access to your Notion workspace
  • All your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  • If you have an active paid subscription, it will be cancelled and no further charges will be made. You will not receive a prorated refund for the remainder of your billing period

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms of Service
  • You engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior
  • We are required to do so by law or a court order
  • We discontinue the Service entirely (in which case we will provide at least 30 days' notice)

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France. Before pursuing legal action, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at contact@printion.pro.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you also have the right to submit a dispute to the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform of the European Commission at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • Notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.
